The following are important people known about Cauldron as well as all information that was learned about them. This will be updated whenever something new is learned about that person or when the party meets a new important NPC. This also includes all NPCs known to the party based on their history.
Alex Tercival: Alex is the third in command at the church of St. Cuthbert just under Jenya. Where Jenya is temperate, Alex believes that anything beneath the law is always right -- a true servant of the Cudgel. The paladin often serves as judicator on several disputes around the city as he is known to always hold the laws of the city to the highest standards. He is known to be cold and direct, dispensing justice with one hand and smiting (in a nonlethal way) with the other. |
Argios Nelredis: Known as Argios the Red, this was a formerly adventuring crusader of high level in the church of St. Cuthbert. Though he has sworn himself to a life of strict defense, never drawing a weapon unless the lives of one of his charges are in danger, he freely trains new paladins and goes about serving the church in his own way. A gentle soul, despite scars and armor that suggest a life that was far less gentle. |
Asfelkir Hranleurt: High priest of the temple of Kord. The half-orcish man was a strong, loud, boisterous individual who had a great love for sports and often announced at grand events held throughout the year with his booming voice. While he has won several wrestling matches on his own, he is known to be remarkably hard-headed and difficult to dissuade once his mind is made up on something. |
Embril Aloustinai: The high-priestess of the Cathedral of Wee Jas. Little is known about Embril as she often remains secluded. She is a powerful mage and cleric both who spends countless hours studying and sending resources to the Blue Crater Academy. |
Fario Ellegoth: The first of a half-elf duo that mysteriously assisted the party during their hunt for the missing children. They both accompanied the group down into the Malachite Hold. Though little is known about them, they have occasionally been in contact with the party members since then to drop their own hints. |
Fellian Shard: The second of the half-elf duo. Where Fario is a blond-haired rogue, Fellian held a tanned complection, bright green eyes, long hair, and a charming expression. He is known to be a cleric of Fharlanghn and is often the contact that the party is in contact with the most, though only Tia ever has luck in finding him. |
Gretchyn Tashykk: The little old halfling that runs the Lantern Street Orphanage. While having a bit of a dirty mind and a sharp tongue, Gretchyn was known to assist any of those in need; especially after the group helped to return the orphans to her. |
Ike Iverson: The current second in command at the Cathedral of Wee Jas. Ike is Castellan's superior, often treating him with slightly more respect than he treats others... Slightly. He is a haughty, vain, disdainful man but one that knows a remarkable amount about magic and general affairs. He is the face of the Cathedral, as Embril does not see anyone unless it is life or death. |
Jenya Urikas: The current second in command at the church of Saint Cuthbert and the primary patron for the PCs. Jenya is another temperate woman. While she has a strong love for law and justice, she is also highly tempered with mercy and kindness. Despite her free range of emotions, she is remarkably strong willed and stubborn. |
Jil: A rogue of the Last Laugh thieves guild. Her true identity is unknown, but she's known to be a rather high ranking member. Unfortunately, she has been told to constantly keep an eye on Tia and remind her not to step on the toes of the Last Laugh. Despite all that might hunt Tia, Jil is her greatest adversary. |
Keygan Ghelve: An expert locksmith and the one that had crafted most of the locks and keys in Cauldron. Though the entrance to Jzadirune beneath his house was closed after skulks and dark creepers forced him to give up a skeleton key that could open many locks within Cauldron. He has recently dedicated himself to making amends for his complacency, providing new and upgraded locks for many important buildings around Cauldron. |
Orak Stonehaven: The formerly mind-controlled owner of a bath house on Lava Avenue. Orak is an ex-adventurer who had lost an eye on his last adventure, causing him to retire into a life of comfort. Beneath his bath house was a tunnel into Drek'thar's way, though it was closed by the Town Guard after goblins used it to access the city. |
Severan Navalant: The current Lord Mayor of Cauldron and the noble in the highest position within the city. |
Skie Aldersun: A powerful gnome sorcerer who had opened the only true 'adventuring' shop within Cauldron, making her entire business revolving around buying and selling magical items to adventurer. She is quite knowledgeable about the creatures, traps, dangers, and general geography about the tunnels and catacombs beneath Cauldron. It is rumored that she retired from the life of adventuring when she accidentally awakened a slumbering wyvern. The wyvern slayed the rest of her party as well as her familiar (A cat named Newt) before she managed to strike a killing blow. The experienced traumatized her, and she swore never to meddle with monsters again. Because of this, she loves to live vicariously through her clientele and even gives an Adventurer's Discount to certain parties, so long as they continually patronize Skie's Treasury, introduce themselves to Skie by name and adventuring group, share heroic tories and accomplishments, and sell a certain amount of magical treasure to Skie. |
Terrem Kharatys: Terrem was one of the boys who was kidnapped from the Lantern Street Orphanage. Though he was returned to the orphanage with the rest of the children, a beholder took special attention to Terrem; collecting Terrem personally from Kazmojen. |
Terri Stanheort: Terri is the treasurer within Cauldron and is responsible for the tax notices scattered about Cauldron. |
Terseon Skellerang: The current captain of the town guard. A thin, greying man who was logical but considerably more kind and tolerant than many of his comrades. A down-to-earth man who butts heads constantly with Alek Tercival. |
