DM challenge: Pinpoint a purpose and meaning for each individual building on this map. xD
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
Shaving your balls makes your dick look big too.
Enzek:
MY CITY CAN WORK OK
Enzek:
lol
Enzek:
I took the page from Everquest.
Aeter (DM):
Last time, the group made their way to the Lucky Monkey. It was a several day's ride, but one that ended in disaster as they found that the entire building had been taken over by bandits. They stealthily broke into the tavern, sneaking past the largest threats to attack the enemy directly: The 'ape man' that the High Cleric had mentioned in his Sending. The werebaboon fought ferociously with the party just barely pushing through by the skin of their teeth. After the brief interrogation and prompt execution of one of the prisoners, the group found the sole survivor of the entire ordeal: A half-drow woman by the name of Shensen Tesseril, a priest of Fharlaghn. Shensen said that she needed to speak to her mentor, Meerthan Eliothlorn, and inform him of the attack on the Lucky Monkey. As the group realized that the wands of Control Water were not present in the Lucky Monkey, they returned to Cauldron only with information (continued)
Aeter (DM):
With Sarcem murdered and his body and equipment in the party's possession, the group wandered back to the city. As they traveled, the clouds above began to gather and rain began to fall; first in big, wet drops and, by the time they returned to town, in miserable sheets. The mood of the city has dampened from the joyous festival as well as an undercurrent of tension runs through the citizenry. It seems rumors that the wands used to hold the floodwater at bay are lost has spread, and the churches of Cauldron has done little to refute this gossip. The group returned to Cauldron at high noon, yet it may as well have been late evening based on how many people are in the town. The group heads towards the church of St. Cuthbert to report his news, just as Shensen waves goodbye to the group in order to go and speak to her mentor. (Done)
* Enzek looks up at the sky as the rain comes down hard. He knew what this entailed, having played parts in the festival throughout the years, and he begins to feel on edge.
Enzek:
"We don't...we don't have a lot of time left."
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
Tia entered the church first, a look of determination on her face as she did so. She was worried about her people, but more than that she was worried about how this would affect her side issue. Something needed to be done, even if it was an evacuation or making of new wands.
* Enzek follows suit.
Castellan:
"Lady Shensen, I'd nearly forgotten," Castellan paused the half-Drow Cleric as she turned to leave them. He fished about in his cloak pocket for the symbol of Fharlaghn. "This was part of the destroyed shrine at the Lucky Monkey - I thought it might be best for you to take it."
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
Tia paused inside, looking for a guard or some sort of Church figure she could speak to.
* Enzek solemnly leads the horse to the church common area, calling for acolytes to come collect the body of his high priest.
Shensen Tesseril:
She looked down at the symbol that was offered, smiling softly. She extended her hand, taking the symbol carefully. "Thank you, Castellan. This... means a lot." Her slender brow furrowed as she slowly turned about. "I will see you three again soon, I hope... and I do hope that, some how, I can repay you for your aid."
* Enzek after knowing that the body is being taken care of, Enzek hurries to rejoin his group, still intent on completing their mission.
Argios the Red:
"Lady Erialistia! You return!" Argios smiled warmly, already standing nearly a head and a half taller than the girl as he approached. "Ah, and Brother Enzek. Are you successful? Have you returned Father Sarcem?"
Castellan:
"I am sorry for what has happened, Lady Shensen. I only hope that things look up for us all from here." He gave a polite bow, tucking his hands back into his sleeves as she took the symbol and turned back to walk away. He watched her for a moment before turning to join the others in the temple.
* Enzek nods at Argios. "Ayep, his remains are being attended to by the acolytes outside."
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
Tia frowned and gave a respectful nod, "Unfortunately no. We were not successful..." She corrected Enzek, "We didn't retrieve the wands. Pardon my friend, he is a bit beside himself with grief."
Enzek:
"I am...sorry to break such news."
* Enzek bows his head.
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
"We do have news though on who might have taken them. I would like to ensure all needed parties are gathered together at once so the matters can be addressed in a timely matter."
Argios the Red:
" ... His remains. I see. Saint Cuthbert judge him fairly. May he live forever in the Peaceable Kingdoms." He bowed his head, his expression becoming far more solemn -- especially at the news of the wands. "I see... Come with me. Siste -- ... Mother Jenya must know at once." He nodded, turning about and immedlately moving off through the halls. "Did you return his cudgel, Brother Enzek? It was not left behind, I hope."
Castellan:
Castellan is a silent phantom of sorts, lingering behind the other two, though he did take his hood down as he came inside. It wasn't his place to mettle in the deathly affairs of another church.
* Enzek rummages through his pack and removes the cudgel, which was wrapped in cloth.
* Enzek presents the holy relic to Argios.
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
Tia followed Argios towards the new leader of the church, her expression serious and at the same time telling of the bad news she had to give.
Argios the Red:
The cudgel was carefully taken between both hands. He let out a sigh as he moved to Jenya's door, knocking three times before entering. "Brother Enzek has returned." He held no smile as he stepped forward towards her desk, laying the cloth-wrapped cudgel onto the wood. With a tug, the still-bloodied mace was exposed.
* Enzek follows suit, giving Jenya a bow when he sees her.
Jenya Urikas:
Her expression had first been one of great joy and hope, only to be doused as that mace was placed upon the desk. She bit down upon her lower lip, stepping forward to gingerly run her hand over the blood upon the pommel of the mace. "Sarcem... " She glanced up towards the trio as they entered. "Have you found the wands?"
Castellan:
Castellan followed along, keeping his head bowed in respect for the recently departed as he filtered into the room last, closing the door behind him - serious business was likely to occur promptly, after all!
Enzek:
"Not yet. They weren't at the tavern. We're lead to believe that they're in the city here, somewhere."
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
Tia shook her head, taking up the mantel of leader in this conversation given Enzek was still mourning. "Unfortunately no. The woman who was seen taking them was Triel Eldurast, who should be familiar to you."
Jenya Urikas:
"Triel... Yes. The guard, correct? Our Templars have searched for her for some time, but nothing has been found since her escape. We assumed her dead." She lowered herself down into the chair, letting out a slow breath. ".. What else did you find?"
* Enzek rummages through his pockets and removes the trifold symbol of Vecna, Erythnul and Hextor, presenting it to Jenya.
Jenya Urikas:
She stared intently at the symbol, hissing out a slow breath. "The Ebon Triad." She stated, with complete certainty. The elder cleric lifted her eyes towards the group once more. "Where did you find this?"
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
"A ware-apeman, raptors, the Lucky Monkey over run by bandits which we avoided. Mostly we found ourselves close to death many times. I must insist a bit more assistance before we venture out if you wish to see us return in one piece."
* Enzek narrowed his eyes. The Ebon Triad. He had a name to put on it, now. He glances at Tia as she explains.
Erialistia "Tia" Culnamo:
"Oh! Pardon my interruption but we also found a Drow."
Castellan:
"Lady Shensen. A Priestess of Fharlaghn."
Enzek:
"The symbol was found on the were-baboon that we killed. It looked important, a good lead."
* Erialistia thumbed to Castellan as a means of confirmation on his words.
Jenya Urikas:
She seemed to not pay attention to the talk of the priestess at the moment. Instead, she sat straighter in her chair. "You recognize these symbols, yes? These are the... foul idolatry of Vecna, Hexor, and Erythnul. However, there is a group of heretics from these three churches that seek to merge their three deities into one shape that holds power over death, war, hate, panic, and slaughter. However, they do not exist within Cauldron. They would not *dare*."
Erialistia:
And this was why Tia didn't believe in religion, they all be crazy.
Castellan:
"How would that be possible?" Castellan was fascinated! The idea of such a conspiracy, in Cauldron! With such reviled deities, known to him only from books!
Enzek:
"Aye, I recognized 'em. I was a bit confused as to why the three were on this symbol; evil and destruction tend to evilly destroy themselves eventually, after all! But what you say makes sense. Seems likely they might have the wands right now. But if they're not in Cauldron, would you know where they might be?"
Erialistia:
"... Can we address the people who are going to drown?"
* Enzek nods at Tia. "Ayep. We don't have much time left."
Jenya Urikas:
" It is..." She shook her head. "Complicated. If you wish for a discussion on such theological topics, we may have it some other time. For now, we must find out about these wands." She pushed herself up to stand. "Your reward will have to wait until the wands are returned. We must act swiftly. Speak to the other churches if you must, or use your own methods in seeking out information. Return tomorrow, and we might speak to Father Sarcem, blessed be he in his rest, and see if he holds any further information for us."
Erialistia:
"... What if we can't find them? You will have a back up plan ready, yes? I mean maybe some cots in the churches for people to sleep on, an evacuation plan? Ones where people physically tell them what is going on because a lot of them can't read," she insisted - being one of the ones who couldn't read.
* Enzek smiles. A Speak with Dead spell, of course! Enzek wonders why he didn't think of that already. xD
* Enzek glances at Tia. "Have faith. We'll get 'em back. We're closing in on them, it's only a matter of time."
Erialistia:
"I have logic, Enzek," she said with a frown. "We need to plan for the worst and hope for the best."
Jenya Urikas:
" There are hundreds of people in the lower parts of town. Should we have floods as strong as past years, Lava Avenue might be submerged by the end of the rainy season. There is simply no way we can prevent the loss of the poor's homes or the lives of our townsfolk... But, I will see what other preparations we might take."
Erialistia:
Tia frowned and shook her head as she walked out, plotting in her head her next move.
Enzek:
"Homes can be rebuilt, the people can't. If anything, just be ready to evacuate 'em. We're on the case!"
* Enzek walks up to Castellan, looking up at him knowingly.
Castellan:
Castellan bowed politely to Jenya. "I am sorry for your loss, Milady Jenya, as well as the burden leadership has and will continue to bring. May the Taker help Father Sarcen peacefully to his final rest in Arcadia. I will see if I cannot muster some measure of support from the Cathedral." He nodded to Enzek in kind, knowing that Jenya's grief was one shared by all in the house of the Cudgel.
Jenya Urikas:
" Thank you. Thank you all. I will make my own preparations. Please keep me updated with any information you might gather."
* Enzek bows to his superior before departing.
Erialistia:
By the time Castellan had come out, Tia had made up her mind to see the Town Guard. After all, they had been the first ones to fuck up in her mind. The others could follow or do their own thing as far as she was concerned.
* Enzek will follow Tia. Perhaps a respected member from the Church of Law will make the town guard a bit more...talkative.
Castellan:
Castellan took his hood up as hey left the building, only to see Tia running off as he came outside. He frowned. "I see great wisdom in her practical ideas, but I only hope we can find the wands in time to prevent the catastrophe she seeks to evacuate from."
Aeter (DM):
Okay, how this works: In total, you can each research 1 lead every day.
Aeter (DM):
This is the first day. Go ahead and choose where you're going to go first, and we will work from there.
* Enzek stops Tia for a moment.
Enzek:
"I was thinkin', let me go talk with the town guard. I might have a bit more pull with 'em. You, on the other hand, could check out the seedier part of town. Seems like it's more your environment, right?"
Enzek:
"I've a feeling that there's a piece of the puzzle over there you might find."
Erialistia:
"I can't help where I live," she said in a bit of an attempt to defend her reputation. Even if he was right, she didn't want him knowing that. "Where should we meet up then?"
Aeter (DM):
( If you're gunna do something, type it and I'll react. Headset's off for a bit. )
* Enzek chuckles. He didn't mean to offend, of course. "I'd say that my church'll be a good rendevouz point."
* Enzek nods at Tia. "Good luck!"
* Enzek heads off to the Town Guard Barracks.
* Enzek makes his way there slowly, taking in the sights as he does so. Perception: « 1d20+9 = 18 + 9 = 27 »
* Enzek is just walking straight threre down Obsidian Avenue.
Aeter (DM):
Enzek makes his way to the barracks. Several members of the guard smiled, nodded, or bowed to him -- he was known for his past deeds and his association with the church, after all. He was lead towards the large building where Captain Skellerang set up his office. The Captain was in a fresh tunic when he arrived, with a dripping set of chainmail and his second set of muddy, dripping clothing laid over a chair. He glanced up from his paperwork to Enzek, smiling warmly. "Ah, Master Enzek. What could I assist you with?"
Enzek:
"Captain Skellerang, thanks for seeing me! I don't want to waste your time so I'll cut right to the chase. Are you aware of the situation regarding the water wands and the festival?"
Terseon Skellerang:
"The water? Quite aware. It's raining all nine of the bloody hells, that's what it's doing." He huffed, glancing back down at his paper. "We have had a case of looting already and if I've had a copper for every worrying complaint I've had about the rising water, I would be the Lord Mayor. "
* Enzek nods grimly. "The wands of water control that we'd usually use to contain it have been stolen. We tracked leads to the Lucky Monkey where we found and ultimately fought mercenaries likely hired by the perpetrators of this crime. Right now, we have a couple of other leads that could point us toward the wands, one of which you folks might be aware of! Can you tell me about one Triel Eldurast?"
Erialistia:
« 1d20+6 = 16 + 6 = 22 » check to see if Tia has heard about the looting.
Aeter (DM):
Tia has not. It was a minor case done by teenagers; not an organized thing by the thieves guild.
Terseon Skellerang:
" Ah. Triel Eldurast. The woman murdered several of my men before escaping. We handed the case to the Church of St. Cuthbert, but all we heard was she died of injuries from her escape. We have not heard much of her... " He let out a sigh, peering at Enzek. "The mercenaries, however, I have heard about. Several locals have been recruited recently in the town. Our guards have been investigating leads on it, yet we have not found anything yet. We are stretched thin with this damnedable rain."
* Enzek tilts his head curiously. "The mercenaries are expanding their ranks with people in our city? Any idea why?"
Terseon Skellerang:
"They are mercenaries. They have not done anything illegal, and their purpose is unknown. Last we saw, men were taken out of the Merchant's Gate and haven't been back since."
Terseon Skellerang:
Noble's Gate**
Enzek:
"Hrm, and we just came out and to that way." Enzek furrows his brow. "I wonder if these weren't the same men that we found at the Lucky Monkey. I know someone I think might know about such things, though. One last thing, are you familiar with a group called the Ebon Triad?"
Terseon Skellerang:
" We are not. It does not sound like any of the gangs I know."
* Enzek nods. "I can tell you for sure it's not a gang." he says as he gets up from the chair. "I thank you again for your time, Captain. Hopefully this information will lead us to the wands. I'd suggest you have your guards be on alert. I can't say for sure but I've got a feeling this...Triel, is not dead."
Erialistia:
Tia ventured into the Tipped Tankard, nodding to the bar keep whom she had spoken with on many previous occasions. She was sure to venture into this very tavern every other week at least. Her eyes scanned the patrons as she arrived, looking for the usual collection of off duty guards. It was typically her source of information on leads they might have, or cases they might be looking into. Guards could be mouthy with they were drunk.
Terseon Skellerang:
" We will do what we can. Thank you."
* Enzek bows to Terseon as he departs, leaving the Barracks and heading toward the direction he thinks Tia might be.
Castellan:
Castellan would approach the grand Cathedral of the Stern Lady, murmuring a quiet prayer as he entered and pulled down his hood. He made his way to the main hall, hoping someone important was about for him to speak to.
Artus Shemwick:
"Why, if it isn't my favorite girl." Artus smirked broadly, leaning against the counter to beckon the girl over. "I don't see you around here often. Coming for a drink?"
Ike Iverson:
Castellan was in luck. His immediate superior was actually in attendance that day, speaking to a few acolytes.
Castellan:
Castellan would make his way to the small gathering. Given his polite upbringing, he waited for Iverson to address him, or at least finish speaking to his subordinates. "Master Iverson," He greeted, bowing somewhat. "I have returned from my task with the Cuthberters."
Erialistia:
She ventured her way in, giving a soft smile even if she was a bit worried. She nodded briefly, leaning on the bar while waving off a drink, "Not tonight. I came for my other past time," she mentioned in jest. He was aware of her information gathering, though how she used it was never spoken of. It could be assumed in any way he saw fit, she helped out enough to ensure his lips wouldn't be a problem. "Got any rumors for me?" The thing about rumors, was they always began with a truth.
Ike Iverson:
Ike turned about, peering at Castellan. "Ah. Acolyte. Welcome back into the embrace of the Ruby Lady."
Artus Shemwick:
" Why, Tia. I'm flattered." She grinned even more broadly, his eyes flickering briefly downwards before returning his gaze to her's. "Rumors. There are always rumors. However, the nature of which depends on what you are asking."
Castellan:
"I am pleased to stand once more in Her halls. Unfortunately, Master, my task is not yet done. I seek your wisdom, and that of the Ruby Sorceress. The wands are missing yet, said to be stolen away by a woman named Triel, Triel Eldurast. A criminal, a former guard in the city, from what I have been led to believe, Master."
Erialistia:
She leaned over the bar, allowing her chest to rest atop with cleavage clearly laid out for him. It was no secret that the two had a mutual sort of relationship, "This one is a bit of a dire matter," she said before lowering her voice. "Any talk of missing wands, religious triads, that guard that escaped awhile back, Triel? Even shady characters that might've gotten a room in the tavern. I'm here on official business this time, not just my own amusement."
Aeter (DM):
i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk65/eternalaegis/ArtusShemwickFull_zps17ecac34.jpg
Ike Iverson:
"Bah. *Wands*". He shook his head in disdain, turning to start down the hall; likely with Castellan in tow. "This festival, and the wands behind it, is a waste of resources and time. You know this, Acolyte. Those 'wands' requested cost over twenty thousand gold pieces each. There are better ways to use our resources."
Artus Shemwick:
"Such information is no trivial fare, Tia." He furrowed his brows, pouring out a glass of somewhat strong liquor for her. He passed it across the counter, resting his fingertips on the rim as he leaned close to speak more directly to her. "I perhaps know something about the three of those. However, this is a dance you and I have not done before."
Castellan:
Castellan's brow furrowed in mild displeasure. He had been 'leant' to the Cuthberters like some tool or weapon. He was at least going to finish the task he'd been handed away for so easily. "Respectfully, my Master, you should know that life is too precious to put a cost to in gold pieces. I am certain you do not wish to give last rites to thousands of dead innocents, should we fail to prevent the flooding. Only we and the Kordites would come to be blamed for failing to save the poor near the crater lake, Master Iverson."
Erialistia:
She quirked a brow, resigning to taking the drink. Liquor was something she could hold, "I can't really think of a dance we haven't done, but if you have some fantasies we haven't explored yet..." she began, only partially in jest. It was clear she was ready to hear his proposal for obtaining that information. She pulled the drink to her lips, taking a sniff before sipping at it. It was a reminder that she knew even he could turn on her.
Ike Iverson:
( Embril Aloustinai)
Ike Iverson:
" Should those innocents be given to the Stern Lady, they would be better off than living a life of poverty." Ike narrowed his brows, turning about towards Castellan. "It is not our domain to choose who lives or dies, Acolyte. It is our domain to care for the bodies of those that have departed. And yet, we have already used the money saved in such endeavors to advance ourself bounds forwards in our studies. *These* are the teachings of Wee Jas, *Castellan*." His name was stated firmly, sort of like a parent calling someone by their middle name.
Artus Shemwick:
" Three hundred gold. Bring it and yourself only to the Lakeside Pavillion at midnight tonight, and I will give you the information you seek. Bring your two...companions, and you will not gain such information. Are we in accord?"
Erialistia:
She furrowed her brow. When money was involved things got serious. "I do hope for your sake that the information is worth the gold, but we're in accord." She eyed him over curiously, trying to get a take on his motive as she agreed to the terms. « 1d20+6 = 14 + 6 = 20 »
Artus Shemwick:
« 1d20 = 10 »
Artus Shemwick:
Tia could not really see any falsities in Artus... However, it looks like there was more to this man than she already knew, given this information he was selling.
Castellan:
"Perhaps they are destined to die, Master. Perhaps some are destined instead to serve as Her greatest champions and followers. I was found amongst the 'rabble', as you would say." He reminded, his mis-matched eyes narrowed slightly. "Perhaps I should speak to Mistress Embril of these matters..." He knew it was grasping at straws, this hollow gambit, this empty threat. He was as likely to see the High Priestess as he was to get genuine help from Iverson.
Ike Iverson:
"Mistress Embril sees no one, Acolyte. You know this." He let out a sigh, turning to face Castellan completely. "I appreciate your friendship with the Cuthbertine fellows. It promotes good relationships between our churches... But, this is futile. I do not know anything of these missing wands. Now, if you excuse me, I have other matters I must attend to."
Artus Shemwick:
Artus winked briefly to Tia before going back to work, serving drinks, and cooking up food in the small kitchenette behind the bar.
Castellan:
Castellan's carefully cultivated composure shook slightly. Ike Iverson's asinine nature was much more apparent, now that he wasn't living in the temple as he had for years on end. It was hard to believe he'd nearly become a Cleric under his tutelage. "You will be grateful soon, Master," He tried so hard to keep his tone level, but the words came quickly in anger. "When we find these wands, and I am among those who find them, the Stern Lady's followers will be seen as heroes, rather than the uncaring flock you would prefer us to seem." He bowed as he backed away, turning on his heel as he left the great hall of the Cathedral. He didn't bother with his hood, storming out into the rain.
Ike Iverson:
"The Stern Lady cares not for heroes, Castellan. Only knowledge. Perhaps, in your studies, you will learn the true will of the Ruby Sorceress." And off Castellan stormed in a huff.
Erialistia:
Tia ventured towards the Lakeside Pavillion at 11:50. She peered around the place, scoping it out for anything that looked off. She even strolled casually and quietly around the building intending to scope it out fully before going in.
Erialistia:
Stealth: « 1d20+10 = 12 + 10 = 22 »
Erialistia:
Perception « 1d20+6 = 12 + 6 = 18 »
Aeter (DM):
Tia saw nothing when she approached.
Aeter (DM):

Enzek:
"Gnomes have created the most intricate sex toys and manuals including the highly sought after, and often translated, Gnomish Kama Sutra."
Erialistia:
Tia stood a couple paces off, watching the center of the pavillion for her 'friend' that she is TOTALLY intimiate with, deal with it, before approaching herself.
Artus Shemwick:
" I thought you might be tired of lurking around eventually, Tia." He smirked as she stepped into the pavillion, his arms crossed over his chest. "Did you bring the money?"
Castellan:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTsfwbzvME8
Shensen Tesseril:
"Castellan! Enzek!" The two, as they wandered down the street, heard that quite familiar voice as the dark-skinned form ran without care through the rain towards the two.
Erialistia:
She nodded, patting the coin purse hanging from her belt, "Whats the information you have for me?" she said as she got closer to him, making it look like two people out there for a bit of romance. Her hands slit over his shoulders, quirking a brow expectantly.
* Enzek waves at Shensen, smiling. "Oh, hey Shensen. How've you been since the ordeal at the Monkey?"
Castellan:
"Perhaps he's right, Enzek, perhaps I should be more distant. Perhaps my time with you and Tia has weakened my resolve to Wee Jas," Castellan mused quietly as they walked, his temper subdued for now. He turned to look at Shensen as she approached, offering his trademark tired smile. "Lady Shensen. I'm pleased to see you again."
* Enzek scoffs. "Something eating ya? What could we have done to weaken your faith? Mine's just fine, after all!"
* Enzek smirks.
Castellan:
((Tadkins that would be said presuming they've been walking and talking for at least ten minutes or so and he explained the conversation at the Cathedral. )
Castellan:
((CLICKITY CLACK))
Shensen Tesseril:
" Well enough. My mentor requested I give this to you..." She pulled out a trio of packages. One was given to Castellan, and one was given to Enzek. "There... is one for Miss Tia as well, if you see her." And the third was passed over to Castellan as well.
Enzek:
"Oh?"
* Enzek gets a curious grin.
Castellan:
"We were just looking for her... If you have the time, perhaps you could join us as we seek her, Milady?" Castellan offered as he took the two packages. He eyed his own curiously, slipping Tia's into his bag. "What might these be?"
Artus Shemwick:
He reached forward, rather shamelessly plucking that coin purse from her belt as he peered into her eyes. "You are looking for the wands stolen by Triel and the Ebon Triad, correct?" He smirked, tilting his head to the side. "I know exactly where they are."
* Enzek holds up the package with one arm and opens it with the other.
Aeter (DM):
Within Enzek's package: Ring of Mystic Healing (pg 126 MIC). Within Castellan's: Circulet of Mages (Pg 86 MIC)
Erialistia:
"Oh?" she said in an attempt to get him to continue. Her body pressed to his and her lips moved to hover over his ear, making it look like they were doing some heavy peting - though she was mostly letting him whisper it to ensure no one else heard. "Where are they?"
Castellan:
In Tia's: Thong of Persuasion +2 ))
Artus Shemwick:
With the coin pouch freed from Tia's belt and tucked skillfully into his own picket, Artus smirked. He lifted his hand to Tia's cheek, guiding her back away from him. They had relationships in the past, but he did not trust her. After all, it was difficult to trust a 'client'. "Triel intends to ransom the wands back to Cauldron after the flood waters rise to Lantern Street. She joined the Ebon Triad, and founded a base for them in a ruin that can be accessed... here." He drew forth a rather crudely drawn map from his pocket, handing it forth to Tia. A red 'X' was marked on the outer northeastern slope of Cauldron, about 200 feet down from the wall.
Shensen Tesseril:
" I can't join you, unfortunately. There's still a lot to do. The flood waters are rising, you know!"
* Enzek pulls the ring out of his package, and an impressed look crosses his face. "Wow, I don't know what to say. Thank you."
Erialistia:
Tia took the map pocketing it before peering to him curiously, "How do you know all of this?" she questioned with a quirked brow. If he had an angle in all of this she could be walking into a trap.
Artus Shemwick:
Artus grinned, tilting forth to press his lips sweetly to her own. "I am a fence, Tia. It's my job to know."
Castellan:
Castellan inspects his own gift in kind, brows raising. He looked it over, seeming to recognize the kind of item. "This is incredible, Milady. I am humbled by this gift... I will make sure Miss Tia receives her own as soon as we find her. Don't be a stranger!"
Erialistia:
She smirked, swooning a bit which was out of her nature typically. She hated it when he kissed her, he knew it was her weakness. "Good to know," she said after managing to gather her composure. "I should go save the city again," she said in annoyance. He would likely have heard how much she hated the attention before. "Be careful should I fail, make sure you and yours are safe." The last message was more serious, but with that she took off in search of her companions.
* Erialistia goes BATWOMAN on them and begins to parkour around the city until she finds Castellan and Enzek. She then jumps down into an alley and causally hangs by a wall until they pass her.
Erialistia:
Tia wandered into the temple, wanting to head straight for the Lady of the church. She didn't care what time it was, she had a lead and no time to wait before following up.
* Enzek was waiting inside the temple, as the agreed meetup point.
Argios the Red:
Argios immediately reacted as Tia stormed forward. "Miss! What's the problem?"
Erialistia:
"I have a lead. I need to proceed with this meeting now, it can't wait until tomorrow. The longer we wait the higher the waters rise."
* Enzek raises his eyebrows and blinks in surprise as Tia storms in.
Castellan:
"I know that ass from anywhere! She was twerking with Robin Thicke at the MTV awards!" )
Argios the Red:
"... I see. Come with me." Argios turned about, leading Tia upstairs. He moved directly to Jenya's chamber doors, knocking thrice. "Mother Jenya? Miss Tia is here. She has information for you."
* Enzek gets up and follows along.
Castellan:
Castellan would join Enzek as they were all but on Erialistia's coattails coming back to the temple.
Jenya Urikas:
"I see. Come in, Miss Tia." Jenya wrapped her robe tighter around herself as she moved to take a seat in one of her large chairs. "There is tea available, if you wish it."
Erialistia:
"Nah." She pulled the crude map from her pocket and held it out," I came across this in my search, it leads to the location of the wands. It also leads to the hide out of your little religious uprising or what have you. My main concern is getting the wands, though. The rain isn't slowing down and we need to get going as soon as possible."
Enzek:
"You found the location of the wands? Impressive! Here I was thinking we'd only find more thin leads."
Castellan:
"It is clear Miss Tia's sources are quite effective."
Jenya Urikas:
"It appears so. Argios." She lifted her head, peering past the group directly towards the paladin in the doorway. "You will be joining the three this time. They *must* retrieve these wands. It is vital."
Argios the Red:
"... Mother Jenya, I am sworn to--"
Jenya Urikas:
"Enough, Argios." She shook her head, pushing herself up to stand. "We must do what we can to combat this threat."
Enzek:
"We are fighting a three-fold religious cult, not some rag-tag gang. We could use the help."
Argios the Red:
" ... Very well. I will join you."
Erialistia:
"Thank you, ma'am. Shall we be off or do you three need rest before we head out?"
Castellan:
"Master Enzek is correct. A knight of your skills would prove most effective against followers of such dark gods."
Erialistia:
An hour later the three found themselves sausaged into a small full size bed because Tia had yet to pass out the loot.
